Stolen Bike

A lovely lady from South Australia who was on the Adelaide to Melbourne ride with me has had her favourite bike stolen. She thinks it may pop up interstate and has passed out a warning. An image and some details are beneath the cut - if you should happen across it please leave a comment and I'll pass the information on.

Titanium frame – copper red, carbon rear end, Dura Ace 10 speed groupset & pedals, Reynolds Ouzo Pro 50mm rake fork – painted copper red like frame, Mavic Ksyrium ES wheels, BB FSA Mega Exo, Chainset –FSA Mega Exo, Ritchey WCS carbon seatpost, Reynolds carbon seat stays, Chris King headset,Deda for Girls handlebar, San Marco Glamour (woman specific) saddle, 2 x King Ti cages, Flight Deck, speed sensor & handlebar mount for Polar HR monitor.

EDIT: This is a custom bike, and quite valuable (the owner has requested that I remove the estimated value)

Stolen from the Norwood Mall. Bike attached to silver railings adjacent to Escape Travel walkway and Ford Dry Cleaners Thursday 25th October 2007 between 12 noon and 2.00 pm (possibly stolen between1.00 pm to 2.00 pm as people (staff @ Savings & Loans) saw it there at approx 1pm).

Bike cable had been cut through with bolt cutters.

Norwood police have been informed. Police report number: 08/H73360

That bike is truly beautiful, and to see it stolen just sucks.

EDIT: The owner has been in contact with me again, and a reward for valid information is offered.
