Now I've never actually seen the remake but every review I've read from
angriestto
dalekboyagrees that it is an edgy, well written remake that tells a new story for modern times.
It has also been a big hit. So, with all the inevitabilty of radioactive decay, we were always going to see remakes of other 1970s TV SF.
Such as The Bionic Woman. The 1st episode of the 2007 remake screened on Channel 7 last night before the glory that is Heroes so I thought I'd amuse myself by watching the trainwreck.
Only it wasn't. A trainwreck that is. In fact it was much better than it had any right to be.
Now one episode is too soon to make any real judgements but it looks like it will be an edgy, well written story. A story for now.
Which is why I blame Battlestar Galactica. :)
