Thats right, I said "hike". And "up". About 3.5Ks of hiking up and down hills and over ice. Lots of ice.
Lots and lots and lots of ice.
The guide company supplies boots and strap-on crampons to deal with said ice which is part of why you take the guided hike.
Spectacular views and with any luck some of the photos will show it.
Took 3-4 hours to get there and back, including an hour on the ice.
After lunch I managed to find an internerd cafe to catch up on the journal and I intend to spend the rest of the day crashed out doing not much of anything.
And hey, its a tour post without even the faintest attempt at stats ('cause there aren't any and won't be any today). :)
