Arcadia

STILL Sick!

This thing just won't go away. I'm probably going to go into work this afternoon anyway to catch up on stuff before resting again tomorrow on Anzac Day. If nothing else it'll get me back on the trike (if only briefly).

And (hopefully) I've finally managed to debug the new and (allegedly) improved Norton Internet Security that has been making life interesting over the last couple of days...

UPDATE: Been to work and been promptly told to go away again. :) The 1st batch of Codral that didn't do much for me has been replaced by a set with pseudoephedrine. I've been warned not to a) drink alcohol or b) drive after taking the nighttime pills.

Hands up anyone out there if you laughed out loud at the image of me doing either under any circumstances? :)

I've also been emailed some stuff to do at home so at least I won't get as stir crazy over the next couple of days. I don't know how much of it I'll get done, but some at least.

Isn't THAT interesting?

It seems that Bicycle Victoria have changed their minds re the entry conditions for Around the Bay in a Day.

The new conditions read as follows:

17. Only standard human-powered bicycles are permitted on the 250km, 210km and 100km Ride options.  Unicycles, scooters, motorised and power-assisted bicycles, child seats, tagalongs, trailers and animals are not permitted on the 250km, 210km and 100km Ride Options.

18. Only standard human-powered bicycles including unicycles are permitted on the 50km Ride Option. Scooters, motorised and power-assisted bicycles, child seats, tagalongs, trailers and animals are not permitted on the 50km Ride Option.

No mention of recumbents being banned.

5:00PM EDIT: Bicycle Victoria have responded to the email I sent them (see this post for details). The response is beneath the cut and I am satisfied that a good result has been achieved for all parties.
